Car rental in Thessaloniki: frequently asked questions

Drivers must be 21 to 84 years old and have held a driving licence for at least one year. Drivers aged 21–22 and 75–84 pay an extra 25 € per rental, and collision damage waiver (CDW) is not available for them.

• A European-format driving licence issued at least one year before the rental. If your licence is not in European format, you also need an International Driving Permit, whatever the issuing country.
• A physical credit or debit card (VISA or Mastercard) in the driver’s name.

No. We do not block any amount on your card. You only need to show a physical credit or debit card in the driver’s name. Virtual cards are not accepted.

At Parking P3 of Macedonia Airport, right opposite the Arrivals exit. A City Car Rental representative meets you at the meeting point at your booking time. On return, drive back to the same spot. You pay nothing for parking. Delivery is available 24 hours a day.

• 21 days or more before pick-up: 100%
• 15–20 days before: 50%
• 7–14 days before: 30%

At pick-up, our representative inspects the car with you and records its condition, so you both know it. At return, the car is checked together again and the return documents are signed.
